How long does a job take?
Most single stumps take under an hour. Larger or multi-stemmed stumps take longer, and we’ll give you a realistic estimate when we quote.
Do you need permission before removing a stump?
A stump on its own usually doesn’t need permission. If the original tree was covered by a Tree Preservation Order, or the property is in a conservation area, it’s worth a quick check with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council first — we’re happy to advise if you’re not sure.
